The Fratelli Ferrero di Riccardo were a historic Piedmontese family active in the wine and vermouth business who founded the factory in the early 1900s. In the 1960s the factory was taken over by the Canadian company Seagram, an international manufacturing group and distribution of alcoholic beverages. In 1992 Carlo Vergnano bought the Moncalieri factory from Seagram in a management buyout and founded the new company. Since then, Torino Distillati has been characterized by professionalism, transparency, quality of raw materials, state-of-the-art production systems, attention to product quality and first class finished products.
