Mataroa Gin

Although Mataroa is a gin produced in Greece, its ingredients are not exclusively domestic. They come from Croatia, France, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco, Italy, Cyprus, Syria, Egypt and Spain. Common to the above countries is their contact with the Mediterranean Sea. How could this gorgeous gin not have a totally Mediterranean character?
