The rumor that the vermouths of the Riserva Carlo Alberto series are named after the King of the Piedmont region of Sardinia, Carlo Alberto (1831-1849) has now been established.

Tasting Characteristics

Clear, golden colour. In the mouth dry and herbal with notes of sage, thyme and clove with a hint of bitter orange peel. Intense aromas with botanical character and hints of cinnamon, lime peels, thyme and sage. Bitter notes of herbs with a dominant taste of sage in the finish.

The process

Riserva Carlo Alberto Extra Dry is a dry vermouth flavoured with 21 carefully selected spices, herbs, flowers, berries and fruits, soaked for 40 days in 45% pure alcohol. The duration of the impregnation ensures its originality, aromas and desired flavours. Aged for 3 to 6 months.
