Vineyards

The vineyards are located in two areas of Mantineia wine-growing zone, Kapsia and Fteri, at an altitude of 600 to 800 meters above sea level. Being lovers of tradition, the members of the Vervainiotis family have preserved in the vineyards the training system of their ancestors, the goblet. The vineyards cover an area of approximately 30 ha and their yield per hectare does not exceed 8000 kilos.

Vinnification - Maturation

Hand-harvested early in the morning when the temperatures are low, ensuring the optimal preservation of the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes. Exclusive use of the free-run juice and allow gravity to trasnsport it to the fermentation tanks. The fermentation is taking place in cold temperature controlled tanks to preserve the primary aromas. Batonnage for approximately three months.

Harmony

It can be consumed alone as an aperitif, it goes well with seafood such as shrimps and pasta dishes with tomato sauce.
