Tasting Characteristics

A modern and light red wine full of aromas of small red fruits and red flowers. Thick and velvety and slightly sweet in the mouth.

Variety Composition

The mountainous Merlot of the Slopes of Egialia and the famous Agiorgitiko of Nemea.

Vineyard

The mountain vineyards of the Slopes of Egialia in Eastern Achaia and selected vineyards of Nemea.

Vinification – Maturation

Careful selection of the grapes of the mountain Merlot and Agiorgitiko to come to the winery in the ideal state of maturity and hygiene. Vintage in small crates up to 20 kg. Leave the must with the skins at low temperatures and then ferment at moderate temperatures not higher than 20°C. Separation by gentle pressure and curing in stainless steel tanks. Towards the end of the fermentation, the wine is put into a deep cooling to stop the alcoholic fermentation and the wine contains about 40 g / liter of sugars. Bottled in an inert gas atmosphere.

Harmony

Ideally accompanies grilled meat and pasta with red sweet and sour sauces.
