Jamaica is known for producing the world's greatest rums. Canerock is the perfect example of the creativity and expertise that runs the jamaican distillers. Produced with umique methods inhereted through generations at the legendary distilleries of Clarendon and Long Pond. After being infused the rum spends a few months in ex Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Tasting Characteristics

Rich caramel flavor, sweet spices, dried fruit, delicate oak tanins emerging with every sip. The nose is complex and rich with notes of sweet pastries, vanilla, coffee beans, black chocolate and coconut. Long aftertaste with notesof coconut, black chocolate, fresh ginger and clove.

The process

Blend of different aged rums 5 to 10 years old. The final stage of ageing is done by staying for a few months in oak barrels formerly used for Pedro Ximenez sherry. This particular type of fortified wine from Jerez, Spain is intensely and naturally sweet with notes of honey and candied fruits - a final touch that gives a rare length and complexity.
