Veuve Clicquot

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin is a champagne house founded in 1772, based in Reims and one of the largest champagne houses. In 1818, produced the first known blended rosé champagne by mixing red and white wines, a process still used by the majority of champagne derivatives. It bears its characteristic golden yellow label from the late 19th century. The company was purchased in 1986 by Louis Vuitton (now part of the LVMH group created in 1987) and continues to expand globally.
