The Finsbury Distillery was founded in 1740 by Joseph Bishop in London. After being located on Ropemaker Street/ Finsbury Street for more than 100 years, the Bishop family, in 1904, built their new distillery right in the heart of London, on Moreland Street. The name Finsbury stands for its deep connection with London. The British capital still has streets, squares, parks and pubs wearing the proud name.
