Schlenkerla

Schlenkerla is a historic brewery in Bamberg, Franconia, Germany, known for its smoked Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier. In the middle of the old part of Bamberg, right below the mighty cathedral, one can find the historic Schlenkerla smoked beer brewery. First mentioned as "House of the Blue Lion" in 1405, Schlenkerla is today run by the Trum family in the 6th generation.
