Red Bull

Red Bull is an energy drink sold by the Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987. Also Red Bull is the most popular energy drink in the world, with 6 billion cans sold in 2016. Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Matesich was inspired by a existing energy drink called Krating Daeng, which was first introduced and sold in Thailand by Chaleo Juvidia. He took this idea, modified the ingredients to suit Western tastes, and, in partnership with Chaleo, founded Red Bull GmbH in 1987 in Chakapong, Thailand.
