Port Askaig Distillery

Port Askaig is a small but important village on the north east coast of Islay. Nestled in ancient granite cliffs along the Sound Of Islay Channel, Port Askaig was and still is the gateway to Islay. From the centuries-old invaders and traders of the past to the tourists, whiskey explorers and island lovers of today. Our whiskey takes its name from this special place.
