Laphroaig Distillery

In 1815, Laphroaig was founded on the Isle of Islay by former farmers, the Johnston brothers. Perhaps distilling whiskey has always been in their blood, no one knows for sure. But one thing is for sure – if they had chosen to grow cattle feed instead of whiskey barley, Laphroaig fans around the world would be sorely disappointed.
