Kurayoshi Distillery

Kurayoshi is located at the foot of Mount Daisen, it has fine water that is necessary for whiskey distillation. The meaning of the word Kurayoshi is "Life is good". The annual temperature range on the Sea of Japan side is large and the aging of the whiskey also proceeds quickly compared to the Islay aging process.
