Glenlivet Distillery

Founded in 1824, Glenlivet Distillery is the oldest legal distillery in Scotland and has been operating almost continuously for 200 years. It remained open throughout the Great Depression and its only closure was during World War II. Today, the distillery is owned by the Chivas Brothers subsidiary of French spirits company Pernod Ricard.
