Founded by Speyside legend Big John Smith, Cragganmore was created using an innovative flat-top still design to create the sweetest yet most complex malt whisky. In fact, Big John chose the location because of its abundant supply of spring water and its connection to the Great Highland Railway. In fact, Cragganmore was the first distillery on Speyside to take advantage of rail transport as a mean of transporting raw materials and shipping the delicious, unique malt.
