Besides, Tyrnavos is a world reference point for this famous variety, since its cultivation extends to 15,000 acres! In fact, the village of Damasi Tyrnavou, a place where Moschato is cultivated for the "Dekaraki Moschato", is famous for the Moschato vineyard, which is one of the largest vineyards in the area. It is a red variety and is harvested in mid-September. The tsipouro "Dekaraki Moschato", is produced only from Moschato grapes. Its unique aroma and incomparable taste, which is felt from the first sip, are an unshakable proof of its origins, its high quality, and the art of the distiller.
