Tasting Characteristics
Pale lemon colour with gold tints. On the nose the wine is dominated by ripe apricot and white peach aromas, while on the backround a light sense of oak is revealed gently. The palate is dry and round. The aromatic explosion of the yellow, but not overripen citrus fruits, the nectar sense and the elegant aromas by the oak maturation, appears at first. Then, the dry nuts and the moderate acidity create an impressive tasty result . The aftertaste is long, fruity and complex.

Vineyard
The 20 hectare vineyards of Avantis Estate are situated in Afrati region, in Central Evia. The soil range is clay , sand clay, gravel stone , depending on the spot. The vineyards are at an altitude of 250 - 500 m. lying on flat places, semi-mountainous slopes or even steep mountainous ones.
Vinification & Maturation
Harvest of grapes and placement in a cooling chamber for 24 hours. Classic White Vinification.6 months maturation in oak French barrels (white smoked )225lt. The malolactic fermentation takes place into the barrel, after the alcoholic fermentation . A battonage is occurred once a month. Keep it in a horizontal place to 3-4 years.
Harmony
It it is ideal with muschroom risotto, roe fish salad, fatty fish, crayfish, lobster pasta.
