Τasting Characteristics
It has a ruby red color. The nose is dominated by intensely fruity aromas of red fruits, with an emphasis on raspberry and black berries, which coexist harmoniously with notes of vanilla and cedar, coming from its stay in oak barrels. In the mouth it is intensely aromatic, with good structure, balanced acidity and pleasant presence of tannins, which give it a long aromatic aftertaste and great aging potential.

Vineyard
A winery located at the foot of Mount Paiko, surrounded by centuries-old oaks, while its 45 acres of vineyards are located next to the river Sirios. At the same time, another 90 acres were acquired in the area of ??Gerakona, one of the best areas of the PDO zone of Goumenissa.
Vinification – Maturation
The vinification of the two varieties is done by pre-fermenting cold extraction for 6 days. This is followed by classic red vinification and extraction that continues until the end of the alcoholic fermentation, with gentle stirring. After the end of malolactic fermentation, it ages for a year in oak French barrels, mainly of large volume.
Ηarmony
Ιt pairs well with meat in spicy, rich sauces, game meat, oil braised vegetables, charcuterie and yellow cheeses.
