Since 1913, free school education has been provided to the children of employees. Since 1958, free medical care has been provided to working families. Since 1991, they have been donating to the organization that takes care of children suffering from burns. They have been supporting the American Nicaraguan Foundation for Poverty Reduction in Nicaragua for 15 years.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has flavours of dried fruits, nuts, vanilla and cocoa. In the mouth it develops flavours slowly, from dried fruits and warm notes of spices and caramel. The finish is long and woody.

The process

Produced from molasses and distilled in a 6-column distillate to give the purity needed before aging in white oak barrels from whiskey or brandy. It ages for 18 years.
