Mezcales de Gusano S.A.

Mezcales de Gusano S.A. was born 75 years ago, with its creator Jacobo Lozano Páez, who had the inspiration to make a Mezcal with special characteristics of aroma and taste that would identify Mexico around the world. He used his long experience in making drinks and created the very characteristic taste of Mezcal with a worm inside the bottle, where he immediately gained fame in Mexico and later abroad. He later joined forces in 1970 with Francisco López González and Andrés Paniagua González, thereby achieving a presence on all continents. Today, the heirs of these 3 are personally responsible for maintaining the quality of Gusano Rojo and the entire line of products they manufacture and sell with great success.
