Tasting Characteristics

The aging process changes the character of the tsipouro, giving it finer aromas, a richer taste and a very strong aftertaste. The Process

Aged Tsipouro Kardasi, is a fine spirit of Muscat grapes matured in french and american oak barrels. The distillate stays in the barrels for 18-24 months.

Best Served

It is drunk neat at a low temperature, in a spirit glass as a digestive dessert. Also chilled in an old fashion glass, accompanied by spicy nuts or dried fruits. An ideal combination is with bitter chocolate filled with orange.
