Delicatessen

These are products with special taste, either consumed plain or accompanied by favorite alcoholic beverages. The word that describes them is German, but comes from the Latin word “dēlicātus”, which means “delicacy” or “fineness”. They are often simply called "deli".

Every delicatessen product has a high taste value, regardless of whether it is salty or sweet. Very often, even the packaging of these products stands out for its aesthetics.

Be careful not to expose the products to sunlight or to place them near a heat source.

Their unique taste and their ability to give a new gastronomic dimension to other products, when combined with them.

Of course they are! A delicatessen chocolate, for example, is a classic gift. It makes an even better gift when combined with a bottle of wine. Similarly, a bottle of whiskey accompanied by delicatessen dried nuts, is suitable for a special occasion.
