The idea for Oxley Gin came in 2006, with nature as the muse and taste as the cause. It took 8 years of passion and experimentation to perfect the recipe of this pioneering product.

The process of cold distillation was invented by the Oxley Gin team, with the aim of fully bringing out the flavours of of the 14 botanicals contained within.

Oxley Gin contains a range of traditional and non-traditional botanicals such as
- Cassia bark
- Juniper
- Coriander
- Orris
- Grains of paradise
- Liquorise
- Angelica root
- Fresh-frozen orange peel
- Fresh-frozen lemon peel
- Fresh-frozen grapefruit peel
- Nutmeg
- Cocoa
- Vanilla beans
- Meadowsweet

Tasting Characteristics

Known the freshness of its aromas, as well as for its excellent smoothness and unique taste. On the nose, clean notes of citrus and juniper can be detected. The use of freshly frozen citrus peel, instead of the typical dried peel, offers a refreshing citrus pallete with a smooth finish.

The process

Ingredients are macerated in neutral grain spirit for 15 hours, then spooned by hand into the kettle and vacuum distilled at -5°C.

Ideal for making refreshing cocktails. Best enjoyed very cold!
