Small-production handcrafted gin, a tribute to Murcia's world-renowned citrus fruits, is flavored with sustainably grown Murcian Fino lemons, tangerines and sweet oranges, which are late-picked, hand-peeled and then left to dry naturally under the Mediterranean sun for to offer their highest quality aromatic oils.

Tasting Characteristics

Citrusy and fresh aroma, with soft shades of juniper and spicy spices. On the palate it's rich and oily with bright lemon and orange notes rounded out, well balanced allowing all the other Bombay Sapphire botanicals to shine.

The Process

While simple gin production includes distillation of herbs, soaked into the alcohol base, Bombay Sapphire is created through a process of steam extraction (vapour infusion). The 10 herbs are kept in perforated copper baskets inside the distiller, but not in contact with the alcohol. Their aroma is released, as the hot alcohol steam rises and "travels" through them.
