Τasting Characteristics

Deep purple color, very dark in the heart. Intensive notes of syrups of red and black fruits. Pencil shelves, biscuits and sweet spices on the back ground. Warm and lush in the mouth. Fruity, smoky and long finish.

Variety Composition

Mavrodafne 40%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Agiorgitiko 20%

Vineyard

Mountains of Achaia, over 800 meters above sea, small vineyards.

Vinification – Maturation

Separate vinification of each variety. The must stays in contact with the marcs until the end of the fermentation. Mixing and maturing in new, oak barrels for 8 months. Ready for consumption this year but evolving nicely over the next 5 years.

Ιt pairs with yellow cheeses, stewed or grilled red meet.
